It tracks what your side hustles actually cost. You record the vendors you pay, the bills they send, and the revenue that comes in — and HustleTally works out where the money is really going, including bills that are shared across more than one venture.
One bill often serves several ventures. A $610 cloud bill might be 70% one project and 30% another. An allocation is how you record that split — by percentage, evenly, or by fixed amounts. HustleTally divides the money exactly, with no rounding drift: the parts always add back up to the whole.
A tag describes what a cost is. An allocation decides who pays for it. You can tag a line item "production" and still split it across three ventures.
If one of your organizations owns part of another, you can record that — including several owners of the same entity, at whatever percentages apply. HustleTally uses this to roll costs up through the structure. It will refuse to create a loop, because a company cannot own itself through a chain.
Because $1,000 of sales is not $1,000. Recording the platform's cut separately is the whole point — it is the number most likely to make a side hustle look more profitable than it is.
The free tier is fully functional. You can track one organization, one side hustle, three vendors, ten active expenses, ten tags, and one ownership relationship — with every feature available, including allocations, the dashboard and revenue tracking. Nothing is time-limited and there are no ads.
Pro removes every one of those limits. It is $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
Cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Your data stays readable after a subscription lapses — you simply cannot create new items beyond the free limits.
Open Settings → Restore Purchases in HustleTally. If that does not resolve it, email support@certaintysignal.com.
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
In HustleTally, go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all of your data, and it cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that separately in iOS Settings.
Not in this version. If you need a copy of your data before deleting your account, email us and we will help.
